If It Is To Be, It Is Up To Me

A little about my background:

After completing high school I had very little direction about what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. My self-esteem and self-worth were not at a high level as a high school graduate.  In High School I was told I had no artistic ability nor was I college material.  So needless to say where do I go from here.  I knew what I didn't want to do.  One thing that I did know was that I enjoyed working with people.  I felt that if I could help people to look good, that would help them to feel better about themselves.  I then pursued a career in cosmetology.  Working with the public for many years I discovered that I was not alone in my feelings.  Even though we are all different, we all are motivated  by our feelings. It does not matter if those feelings are negative or positive,  it is those feelings that  led us.  Sometimes not into the direction that we would like to go.  Feelings become our controlling factor in life and either they move us forward or they hold us back.  My curiosity led me to discover that we can change the negative feelings of the past, that sabotage us from achieving the life we were meant to live.  A  life of Health, Happiness, and Abundance.  This is our birthright.

A short time after high school I began to learn more of the power of the mind.  I was always looking for ways to feel better about myself and build my confidence. Through my research  I  was led to study in the field of Metaphysics, soon after the quality of my life began to change.  By learning to set measurable goals, be specific on what I wanted and using guided imagery,  I began to change those negative feelings and beliefs, and began to make many positive changes in my life.  My confidence grew and I realized that whatever I put my mind to I can do.   I then decided to take the next step, enroll in college, but I still had those negative feelings about school.  As I began to change those feelings, I  was then able to set a goal for myself.   I then began the long process of attending school. Utilizing the techniques that I now teach,  I was able to move from a 2.0 GPA to achieve a 4.0 GPA.

Today I work with many people in helping them to discover their  true potential.  To resolve personal challenges, and to remove the blocks and limitations that are holding them back from achieving their goals and outcomes in life. Working in the field of Hypnosis has brought new meaning to my life, as well as the lives of my clients.

I then wanted to broaden my scope of knowledge and reach out to help more people. As a Certified Life Coach I help people to bring out the best in themselves.  To take a valued person from where they are to where they want to go.  As their Coach I  help the individual to clarify and enlarge their vision, to develop an action plans, become clear and specific about their goals, and to break though barriers to achieve their dreams.  My coaching practice is a mix of professional and life experiences.  The client is the expert at what they need, I help them to discover their hidden wisdom and guide them to where they want to go.
